講師：前川徹氏（サイバー大学教授）概要：クラウド・コンピューティングの普及によって情報処理のパラダイムが大きく転換しようとしています。この講演では、クラウド・コンピューティングが情報処理の世界における第 4 の波であるという仮説を紹介し、クラウド・コンピューティングの利用事例を通して、そのメリットを明らかにするとともに、ソフトウェア・ビジネスがどのように変化していくのかを展望します。また、SaaS における規模の経済、パブリック・クラウドとプライベート・クラウドの違いについても触れ、クラウド・コンピューティングとオープンソース・ソフトウェアとの関係について解説します。

2009年にオープンソースソフトウエアとして公開されたbaserCMS。その生い立ちには深いドラマがありました。10年近く前のこと、お客様のWEBサイトに問い合わせフォームを作り込むために、ひとり苦労して取り組んだことが始まりでした。それが今日では開発者コミュニテイだけでなく、支援団体としてのNPOやデザインを流通させるマーケットプレイスを備えた、継続性のあるエコシステムを確立するまでになりました。今回のミニセミナーでは、baserCMSの機能や実装の実際において何を大切にし、誰の幸せを願って取り組んできたのかを、自ら創始者であり一貫してbaserCMSの発展をリードしてきた江頭竜二氏にじっくりと語っていただきます。企業のIT化に取り組んでいる皆様には、商用製品ではない、使うだけなら誰に断る必要も無いオープンソースのCMSを知っていただくことと、それを支えているコミュニテイについて生の声を聞ける、またとないチャンスです。

振り返ってみようOSS

Open Source Software Association of Japan

ソフトウェア開発において、もはや無くてはならない存在となっているOSSですが、あまりにも身近になったことで、コスト面の利点のみに惹かれ無頓着に消費することに慣れてしまい、OSSに込められた本来の理想や理念に対して思いを寄せることがなくなりつつあるように感じます。ここまで普及してきたOSSを今後も育て守っていくため、私たちに出来ることは何か。それを考えるために、ここでもう一度OSSのこれまでを振り返ってみませんか。今回はOSSの歴史記録プロジェクト「FLOSS Stories」において、OSSの歴史調査に取り組むtechジャーナリストで、元「月刊Linux Japan」編集長の風穴江氏を講師にお迎えし、インターネット上には記録や形跡があまり残っていない1990年代の出来事を中心に語っていただきます。続いて2000年代以降の状況について、当協会理事で元IPA常任研究員の橋本明彦がお話させていただきます。 http://goo.gl/6uQWHz

Namazu をベースにした日本語全文検索システム Kabayaki。商用プロダクトとしての展開にあたり、普段は「高精度の文書フィルタが」「Web GUI の管理画面が」「検索結果のスコアバー表示が」「類語検索が」などと製品説明しているのですが、今回はそれよりも、「導入する顧客側が “./configure && make && make install” を叩かなくて済むようにするためにしているあれこれ」に重点をおいて説明してみたいと思っています。

現在中国では「新常態政策」のもとで、構造改革が進むとともに、「内需拡大」、「都市化」、「サービス化」といった、より付加価値の高い産業構造への転換が推進されている。 IT化はその政策の流れを受けて重要視され、関連ソフトウェア産業などはさまざまな恩恵を受け成長している。しかし、「上海万博」で街は超近代都市に変貌をとげ、生活の様子も変化してきた一方で、不条理で不効率な部分も歴然と存在している。講師は2005年に東京から上海に拠点を移し、現地でソフトウェア会社を運営し、パッケージ商品や、日本向けのオフショア開発など実施し、OSSを積極的に活用してきた。このセミナーでは講師が実際に遭遇したトピックスを取り上げ、コンピューターネットワーク、ソフトウェアの関連事情とともに OSSの現状を紹介しながらその普及について考えたい。

Open Source Software Association of Japan

OpenStreetMap(OSM)は誰もが編集可能な地図の共同作成プロジェクトです。その特性から地図のWikipediaと呼ばれることもあります。ここではOSMの概要を紹介しつつ日本でのOSMの現状と利活用の動向について紹介します。 OSMのデータはユーザによって作られるため、地域やコミュニティの活性状況と連動しています。このため詳細な地図ができている場所から、単に道路情報のみが入っている程度の場所まで様々です。誰でも編集可能な特性を生かして、地域活性に活用する試みや車椅子地図作成の試み、あるいは飲み屋マップの作製など様々な活用事例があります。ここでは利活用の事例を成功・失敗例とともに紹介します。

技術セミナー「被災地復興におけるOSS」 http://bit.ly/IEQifi 多賀城市は、東日本大震災の発生後、被災者を対象に罹災状況等のヒアリングおよび支援制度説明、罹災証明書・義援金の交付申請受付、応急仮設住宅の申込受付等を目的とした「被災者総合相談窓口」を開始した。相談窓口の運用には、未曾有の大災害の中で疲弊する対応職員の負担を限りなくゼロに近付け、かつ被災者へのサービスの質を担保するため、その業務を補助する何らかのシステムが強く求められた。しかし、情報の錯綜と混乱状態が続く中で、依頼先もなく、要求仕様を満たすシステムを相談窓口開始日までに準備することは困難を極めた。本講演では、OSSで構築した被災者管理システムの稼働前また稼働後の種々の課題と改善アプローチ、災害時における地方自治体の情報システム部門のあるべき姿について述べる。

今回のミニセミナーではオープンソースの統合業務管理ソフト「ADempiere」（アデンピエレ）を取り上げます。ADempiere によるビジネスを展開する一方で、「日本 ADempiere の会」の発起人でもある田口信宏氏を講師としてお招きし、実際のデモンストレーションを交えながら「エンドユーザーへの新たな ERP パッケージの提案」、「システムインテグレータへのSI事業、ERP 事業の提案」という視点から、ADempiere の概要や日本のコミュニティの状況などをお話いただきます。
