on site support if and when required.
SiteOps operation & maintenance activities can be grouped into three main
categories, these being, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and
network operations. Initially, SiteOps performs an in-depth network audit to
highlight all immediate and imminent criticalities and defines the road-map for
corrective maintenance activities to be performed. Preventive maintenance
ensures that networks continue to operate under normal conditions. On the
operational side, monitored activities include network surveillance, help-desk,
support, performance management, dispatch, OSS support, application
management and network configuration management.

SiteOps believes in developing solutions based on a Layered Infrastructure
Development Model. This means that each solution is built from the ground
up on a solid, reliable, and well thought out foundation. Since the
infrastructure layer that is being implemented may serve as the foundation
for a more complex service, SiteOps takes great care in ensuring that each
building block of each foundation is capable of supporting its clients needs,
and that the solution provided is capable of scaling as the client
requirements change.

The Network Support Infrastructure serves as the foundation for a solid and
reliable network. Starting with an appropriate location, SiteOps starts by
defining the physical infrastructure requirements according to the client's
needs, and location constraints. Defining the required site hardware
infrastructure, SiteOps then defines Power, Environmental Control Equipment
(of which includes Fire fighting, and Air conditioning systems), and
transmission support hardware.

This layer consists of both the hardware and software components that serve
as the foundation for any network service. To successfully deploy packet
based services, SiteOps defines the components needed to build a solid
packet network capable of high speed transmission according to the clients
capacity and availability requirements. A reliable network service requires a
redundant and resilient packet network supported by a high speed, and
efficient transmission medium.

This infrastructure layer encompasses all application support elements, from
collaboration services, to enterprise, and management, all applications share
a common base. This layer focuses on defining clear demarcation points
between these elements, ensuring easier troubleshooting, maximizing
availability, and scalability. The elements that make up this layer are:
