11. CONVERSION
We are pilgrims journeying toward the Kingdom
of God
The acknowledgment of sinfulness as the root
cause of our social problems must lead to
conversion and social transformation.
The proclamation of the Kingdom of God is a call
to a change of heart, metanoia, a profound
transformation of one’s way of life so that it
would be in accord with the Gospel.
Conversion requires the renewal people’s
relationships and their social structures.
13. Conversion and social transformation- a life- long
task, striving from the less perfect to the ever
fuller life.
Jesus- the model that we must pattern ourselves
after
- The Way, the Truth, and the Life
His message of transformation and liberation in
the Kingdom of God is concretized in His own life
and death.
15. SPIRITUALITY
Our way of life
Our radical living of what we preach
1. Marked by an enduring and intimate
commitment to Jesus, a love for Him that does
not count the cost.
2. Inspired by such preferential love
3. Seeking of the Kingdom as the primary rule
4. Hunger and thirst for justice
5. A spirituality that shares Good News in the
midst of deprivation, hope in situations of
cynicism and pessimism
6. A faith that listens to and heed God’s Word
