For Success?
In this post I’m going to show you how to optimize your about
page so you can get the most out of it.
The about page is one of the most important and also one of the
most neglected pages but lucky for you we are going to change
that
There are a lot of smart marketers, like you, that will actually
go so far as to say the about page is the most important page
on your site and there is prof to back that statement up.
When you look at your Google Analytics reports for the traffic
that goes to different pages on your site, typically, the about
page is the second most popular page on the website following
the homepage.
So if we are going to have a page that’s going to get that much
traffic it’s really in our best interest to optimize it.
Right?
Now before I dive in to showing you the nuts and bolts of
optimizing your about page let me share with you how many of
the highly successful Online Entrepreneurs lay out their about
me pages.
I’ve noticed the first section usually explains the who the site
is for and what to expect from the content.
The bottom section is usually about the site owner or the
person creating the content. Here’s another thing that’s
common in good about pages they have optin boxes.
Optimizing your about page like this works extremely well and
it only takes about 45 minutes to do. I definitely encourage you
to do it.
Action Plan:
This is your task for the next hour. Once you’re done
optimizing your about me page, CELEBRATE! Because this is
extremely effective to create a strong bond and get more
subscribers, congratulations!
