This document introduces the COACH model created in 2013 by Tom Curtis to aid in improvement. The COACH model consists of 5 steps: clarify to provide insight on intent and purpose, observe to understand in whole and gain proper perspective, adjust through discussion and teaching, check the adjustment through practice, and hansei to review and extract learnings to improve future interactions.
