• The price is Equitable £45 buys 10 kilos
about the same as the supermarket
• The farmer delivers if to my door – in a
black plastic bag.
• I know they are culled humanely
• I see the sheep everyday, they have a
good life and no chemicals are added to
their fields.

10. The potatoes come out of the field
behind our house

11. As do the onions

12. And the carrots

13. And this lot costs us about £3

14. Milk, eggs and orange juice are all
provided by the milkman

15. Which leaves little to buy in the
supermarket

16. Some groceries

17. And more exotic fruit and veg –
broccoli + melon; mostly fair trade
The suede is local

18. And when we do buy our groceries
– this lot cost us £83

19. We even think carefully about how
it is packaged
