2. Photoshop is everywhere these days. Photo’s are edited, people’s faces and bodies are altered. Have a zit? Bye! Have a few pudgy pounds? Crop it! But what harm does it cause? Photoshop
3. Teenagers Teenagers are very impressionable. They aim to achieve the “perfect, flawless” body and faces. Media is the biggest factor in this because they see a models face on a magazine, and it is perfect and clear of blemishes. Unrealistic? Very. But the impression is already there.
4. Adults Adults are just as impressionable. Women see skinny bodied women in magazines smiling and happy. In reality, a woman who is that stick thin is not happy. She is probably starving herself and far from happy.
6. Nothing can really be done about it, except to be aware that not everything is what it seems. It is very easy to make yourself somebody you are not, and the same goes for other people. What can be done?
