Apollo II photovoltaic shingles can generate most or all of the electricity used in a home during the day. They are a high-performance roofing system that integrates polycrystalline solar panels into an asphalt shingle roof without requiring roof penetrations. Each module has 14 high-efficiency solar cells, weighs only 12 pounds, and is rated for 250 pounds per square foot and 110 mph winds.
