2. ECOsubsea has developed technology that will allow ship
owners to clean their vessels while in port and while in loading
operations, this will ensure that vessels do not loose any time
of operations and thus save even more time and fuel. The
ECOstations will improve the local marine environment of the
port, lessening the risk for AIS and the risk for heavy metal
emissions. ECOstations are designed to meet future
regulations and future environmental demands to help the
shipping industry for a greener approach and cheaper
operation.

3. Today ECOsubsea has one demo-station (called ECOstation)
in Gothenburg, although not optimal in performance yet, all
following key criteria has been met:
1. Proven collection of debris cleaned off hull (collection
percentage) of 97.5%, based on independent research
from Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA).
2. Smooth cleaning using newly developed high-pressure
water concept, “No microscopic scrapes in any of our
coatings” Testimonial from Jotun AS.
3. No use of divers, operation done by Remotely
Operated Vehicle (ROV)
