  1. “The New Impact of Librarians” The theme of the anniversary conference on Thursday, November 15, is: ImPact : Information that really matters.Information Professionals matter because we see to it that our users/customers get THE information that works for them. We want to stress the impact that information professionals have (or can/should have) in organizations, and that with their searching, structuring, analyzing etc. of the right and reliable information, companies can save lots of money (due to saving on time that people lose now in finding the right information for their work and decision making) and make better decisions.
