X was born at Kayamkulam. X attended
schools in Kayamkulam and Mavelikara. He
drew the sleeping posture of one of the
teachers in classroom, this made the
headmaster angry. But then he was
encouraged by his uncle who saw in him great
potential. After schooling, X studied painting
at Raja Ravi Varma School of Painting at
Mavelikara. X’s drawings attracted even Lord
