         Chapter 6

Solving Inequalities

  Simplify   both sides.
    – Use the distributive property.
    – Combine like terms.
    – Follow PEMDAS.
  Bring all variables to one side ( Try to
   keep the coefficient positive).
  Undo
   operations, addition/subtraction, multipli
   cation/division.
