37. Grading and Extra Credit Homework will be accepted up to one week from due date. 5% will be deducted each day it’s late, including weekends. However, remember that an F is better than a 0 Homework will be given daily. There will be a quiz or a test each week. The classroom website will have that week’s assignments posted by Monday morning for that week. If the student gets an A both quarters they do not have to take the semester final (extra credit not included in this figure) Extra credit is random and will be posted on the website. I will not inform students when it’s available. If students bring in materials that are needed for the classroom, 5 points will be added to each quarter grade, for each quarter items are donated. Notes will be collected the day of each test and will be graded. If your students take the notes I give and include the examples, it’s VERY easy points. Grades will be posted at midterms on the classroom website by secret number. If you or your student need to know their grade any other time, feel free to e-mail me.
