Projects Experience:
Name: British SKY Broadcasting: Strategic Rights Management
SKY is undergoing a massive strategic program to replace their existing content rights
Management and the Finance system for Movies, Sports and Entertainment to a new customized
third party product. The existing rights held as deals and the finance information in the current
system needs to be migrated to the new system. The team consisted of SKYs own scrum teams,
third party vendors. Initially joined the program as a Business analyst for 2 scrum teams and later
got elevated as a Product owner for one of the work streams
Responsibilities:
As a product Owner:
• Working closely with stakeholders in commissions, acquisitions, scheduling, digital,
finance and legal, to efficiently gather and analyze business requirements for a new
rights management and programmer information system for linear and digital (VOD, 7-
day catch-up, mobile, internet) media.
• Responsible for the complete content life cycle workflow definition across different
teams like the content rights acquisition/traffic/linear scheduling/VOD
scheduling/finance.
• Gap Analysis to understand the current process(AS-IS) and identify, define the future
state (TO-BE).
• Requirements for the new system are captured as a Requirement catalogue. Involved in
the collection of requirements for the new system using elicitation techniques like
workshops, Survey, document analysis, Prototyping, JAD sessions. Conduct boot camp
sessions with the users to prioritize the requirements using M0SCoW analysis.
• Responsible for the ROI (return on investment) by doing a cost benefit analysis of the

Name: AstraZeneca-AZIA Emerald Migration
AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals conducted a organization wide programmed of replacing IBM
owned data centers with HCL owned Data centers. Their middle ware platform for making
different applications communicate with each other with AZ landscape was called AZIA which
was also a part of Emerald programme. The core servers of AZIA across environments were
newly built in HCL owned Data centers and the associated connections were also migrated to the
new Data Centers. AZIA connects to around 450+ applications with AstraZeneca.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible as a Business Change manager for the complete planning of the application
connection migrations of AZIA .In this context, each application connection has to be
migrated from lower environments to the higher environments. I was responsible for
contacting the vendor contacts and the system owners for each of these applications to
make sure that the planed Versus actual implementation of the AZIA connection
migration with the application is a success. Successfully planned about 500+ connection
migration and executed them without any major escalations. This involves a lot of
analysis in terms to identifying the dependencies across different application connections,
communicating the same to the relevant stake holders, getting their buy-in,
communicating the same to the team which was involved to give a Go decision to the
migration. Managed a team of 18 developers who were a mixture of onsite/offshore.
• Closely worked with the client stake holders for communication with respect to the
migration status, ongoing issues, any risks in terms of the connection migration on a day
to day basis. Responsible for the end to end migration right from planning until
communication with the relevant stake holders.
• The AZIA was a validates system ad followed certain process for the connection
migration in terms of preparing the cut over plans, bringing all the responsible stake
holders to a meeting, deciding upon a Go/No-Go decision. I was responsible in each and
every step until a final communication to the respective system owners about the
completion of the migration.
• There were about 35+ documents which have to be delivered as a part of AZIA-Emerald
migration. I was responsible for authoring those documents which were techno-functional
and was the primary person in charge to get all the documents approved with the client
stake holders.
• Was the point of contact for all the application team, process team, command center
team, System Integration team
• Was held responsible for communicating with various vendor stakeholders in terms of
AZIA server downtime. Was part of the core team in terms helping the BAU team to take
control of those connections which have already been migrated.
Name: Sainsbury’s-Project Proteous-E- commerce re-platforming -Implementing Payment
Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) for Online Merchandising
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards that were
created by the major credit card companies (American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB,
MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International) to protect their customers from increasing identity
theft and security breaches. It was designed to reduce the risk of card data being breached and used
fraudulently. Sainsbury’s online stores should be PCI compliant for secure payments transmission
between the consumers and the Sainsbury’s Merchant. As a part of this project, Online transactions
were checked for 3D secure authentication, industry Hot-Card validation, BIN range Checks.
Responsibilities:
• Gathered Business requirements through interviews, surveys, prototyping and interacting with
Project Managers. Conducted brainstorming sessions with project focus groups.
• Preparation of the Functional Design Document capturing the requested behavior of the
to-be system.
• Preparation of the Interface Specification document for the business and high-level
technical constraints for an interface between software systems.
• Responsible for a knowledge transfer to the Sainsbury’s other Vendors for the
development process.
Name: Sainsbury’s-Helios UVC Project Providence-Phase1
Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, commonly known as Sainsbury's, the third largest chain of
supermarkets in the United Kingdom with a share of the UK supermarket sector of 16.5%. The
project was called the Helios UVC-Project Providence-Phase1. The purpose of the UVC Engine
project is to define and deliver a solution which will enable customer data from different sources to
be brought together to create a high-quality view of Sainsbury’s customers and their activity across
all Sainsbury’s channels, as a single data source.
Responsibilities:
• Gathered Business requirements through interviews, surveys, prototyping and interacting with
Project Managers. Conducted brainstorming sessions with project focus groups.
• Defined the scope of the project based on the gathered Business requirements, including
documentation of constraints, assumptions, business impacts and project risks.
• Preparation of the Requirements traceability matrix to check to see if the current project
requirements are being met.
• Preparation of the Functional Design Document capturing the requested behavior of the
to- be system.
• Preparation of the Interface Specification document for the business and high-level
technical constraints for an interface between software systems.
Name: BCBSMN-Online Coaching and healthy Incentives
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, with headquarters in the St. Paul suburb of Eagan,
were chartered in 1933 as Minnesota’s first health plan. The project was to integrate two external
vendors namely Stay well and Incent one with BCBSMN for both member and non member
services. This Project is being carried out of AGILE METHODOLOGY and follows the
SCRUM PROCESS.
Responsibilities:
• Analysis of the User Epic Document and to come up with the User Story Document. GAP
Analysis of the User Story Document if the story is prepared by the Client and communicating
the same to the Client.
• Conducted the User story walkthrough to the offshore team.
• Conducted the User Story Point Estimation session to the offshore folks and communicated the
same to the client.
• Involved Full life cycle Software Development (SDLC).
• Involved in the SOAP UI testing of the web services along with the QA team.
Name: MEDECISION (Cognizant): MEDecision is a leading provider of collaborative
healthcare management solutions. They have different products for the US health care Market.
One of them is ALINEO.I was involved in the enhancements of the Alineo Product. This Project
is being carried out of AGILE METHODOLOGY and follows the SCRUM PROCESS.
Responsibilities:
• Analysis of the User Epic Document and helped the Client BA to come up with the User Story
Document. GAP Analysis of the User Story Document and communicating the same to the
Client.
 Reviewing the test scenarios and test Cases of the testers and informing the gaps if any.
 Performing the User acceptance testing.
 Analysis of the existing application, to capture the existing functionality in User Story Document.
• Conduct the User Story Point Estimation session to the offshore folks and communicated the
same to the client.
• Involved Full life cycle Software Development (SDLC).
• In Depth understanding of the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and experience in converting
these requirements into technical specifications for preparing test plans.
• Worked extensively with the architect to identify key elements and table structures and aid
database design.

with its Lexis and Nexis services.
Responsibilities:
 Leading an innovation team which is discovering a demand management tool for
resource management.
 Responsible for Co-authoring Business Requirement Specifications Document with
project teams. Conducted walkthroughs with designers, developers and stakeholders.
 Analyze business requirements and segregate them into high level and low level Use
Cases, Activity Diagrams, State Chart Diagrams and Robustness Diagram using MS
Visio following principles of waterfall methodology.
 Created business process workflow diagrams (Activity, Sequence, and Use Case)
using Rational Rose.
 Assisted Project Teams in preparing Software Requirement Specifications (SRS),
Software Design Documents (SDD), User Interface Design, designing of application

Name: Cognizant2.0: Cognizant 2.0 is a project management tool used for tracking all project
related activities. It combines project, process and assets. It is an inbuilt tool from Cognizant. It is
an Integrated Delivery Eco-System. The entire team has been split as requirements,
documentation, development, testing, implementation and support teams. This tool has been
mandated for usage across cognizant for the efficient project management. Around 2500+
projects currently use this tool for project management activities.
Responsibilities:
 Worked along with the requirements team to conduct detailed Requirement gathering,
Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis by interacting with internal stake holders, business users
in understanding their needs.
 As an implementation champion for the Testing practice across verticals, I was involved
in the Set up various projects in the practice.
 I was involved in the process of preparing the status reports on a month on month basis
for the testing practice.

Name: MEPZ E-Governance (Infosys Technologies): MEPZ Special Economic Zone was with
the objective of promoting foreign direct investment, enhancing foreign exchange earnings, and
creating greater employment opportunities. The added objective of the SEZ is to facilitate
exports through reduction of transaction costs. MEPZ is approached by SEZs and EOUs for
various services starting from application for a new unit, green card, claims for tax refund, etc.
This entire E-Governance application was computerized.
Responsibility: this application was delivered in three phases.
Responsibilities in Phase I:
 Gathered Business requirements through interviews, surveys, prototyping and interacting
with Project Managers. Conducted brainstorming sessions with project focus groups.
 Defined the scope of the project based on the gathered Business requirements, including
documentation of constraints, assumptions, business impacts and project risks.
 Involved in the preparation of test case document of Unit Testing, System Testing and
Integration Testing.
 Involved in the Unit, System, Integration and Regression Testing of the application
along with the Database Testing.
 I was the Knowledge Manager for the project where in I had to share the domain
knowledge with the new comers, give induction training on the domain and trigger KM
activities for my project.



 Interaction with the clients for Requirement gathering. This project followed the
prototyping model.
 Designed the Prototypes, work flow diagrams and Use Case diagrams for all functional
requirements including web check in, flight schedules modules.
 Participating in testing activities. Development of Test cases as a basis for performing
Integration and System testing for Functional testing
 Participating in QA activities such as Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing
and Regression Testing and management of defects.

Projects Experience: Name: British SKY Broadcasting: Strategic Rights Management SKY is undergoing a massive strategic program to replace their existing content rights Management and the Finance system for Movies, Sports and Entertainment to a new customized third party product. The existing rights held as deals and the finance information in the current system needs to be migrated to the new system. The team consisted of SKYs own scrum teams, third party vendors. Their middle ware platform for making different applications communicate with each other with AZ landscape was called AZIA which was also a part of Emerald programme. The core servers of AZIA across environments were newly built in HCL owned Data centers and the associated connections were also migrated to the new Data Centers. AZIA connects to around 450+ applications with AstraZeneca. Responsibilities: • Responsible as a Business Change manager for the complete planning of the application connection migrations of AZIA .In this context, each application connection has to be
  • 4. migrated from lower environments to the higher environments. I was responsible for contacting the vendor contacts and the system owners for each of these applications to make sure that the planed Versus actual implementation of the AZIA connection migration with the application is a success. Successfully planned about 500+ connection migration and executed them without any major escalations. This involves a lot of analysis in terms to identifying the dependencies across different application connections, communicating the same to the relevant stake holders, getting their buy-in, communicating the same to the team which was involved to give a Go decision to the migration. Managed a team of 18 developers who were a mixture of onsite/offshore. • Closely worked with the client stake holders for communication with respect to the migration status, ongoing issues, any risks in terms of the connection migration on a day to day basis. Responsible for the end to end migration right from planning until communication with the relevant stake holders. • The AZIA was a validates system ad followed certain process for the connection migration in terms of preparing the cut over plans, bringing all the responsible stake holders to a meeting, deciding upon a Go/No-Go decision. Name: Sainsbury’s-Project Proteous-E- commerce re-platforming -Implementing Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) for Online Merchandising Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards that were created by the major credit card companies (American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International) to protect their customers from increasing identity theft and security breaches. It was designed to reduce the risk of card data being breached and used fraudulently. Sainsbury’s online stores should be PCI compliant for secure payments transmission between the consumers and the Sainsbury’s Merchant. As a part of this project, Online transactions were checked for 3D secure authentication, industry Hot-Card validation, BIN range Checks. Responsibilities: • Gathered Business requirements through interviews, surveys, prototyping and interacting with Project Managers.
