Today I had the pleasure of chairing M-SParc ("Menai Science Park")'s celebrations of World IP Day. This is the second time that M-SParc has marked World IP Day. This year's theme is "Innovation for a Green Future". We discussed WIPO Green - an international online database of providers and seekers of environmentally friendly technology which offers great opportunities for British business and in particular businesses on Anglesey and the fast-tracking of environmentally friendly patent applications through the IPO's green channel. We had great presentations by Rob Elias of Beacon Biorefining, Andrea Knox of Knox Commercial Solicitors and Nigel Hanley of the IPO. These slides serve as an introduction and overview of the topic..
