Hi Everyone, my name is Nino Lo Iacono and I’m the CEO of Warehouse In a Box aka WIB the company that reinvents retail merging physical and digital shopping channels;
As modern consumers we have to deal with fast paced, frenetic days. Fortunately there is the web that made us accustomed to get everything 24/7 and within a click’s range.
But when it comes to daily or emergency shopping our needs can be satisfied only by physical retail channel that has plenty of limits:
It’s not 24h7 available and it’s definitely not within a click’s range.
And here come the WIB revolution that finally provides the missing link between physical and online shopping,
with a smart, automated store that combines an IoT approach and best in class Ferrari Valley Mechanics.
WIB is better for consumers
it’s 24h7 available,
it’s ecommerce enabled customers can buy online and pick their stuff at the chosen machine
our patented technology can handle hundreds of products regardless shape and fragility
WIB is better for retailers
with low investment and operating cost will can enter high traffic strategic with an actual point of sale
gaining additional revenue streams from the embedded media&communication channel
WIB it’s flexible and without changing a nut in the machine all retail segments are enabled to automated sales.
Retail industry is globally worth 13 trillion of euros
We’re already in the market.
We’ve sold first units in Italy and Central Europe to leading retail chains with billion euros turnovers
In our business model we earn from machines sale
and we also gain recurring revenues from software tools since we provide a turnkey solution
We started sales before our plans.
We forecasts to sell 50 machines in 2015 to 1800 the 5th year, with a turnover ranging from 1.5Mln to 48mln.
In our team we’ve strong expertise in Mechatronics, computer science and mobile software as well as marketing and sale in the specific field of retail and vending.
We outsource the production in the Ferrari motor valley the place where you have to be if you are in the mechatronics.
Last January we raised a 700K seed round from 2 Italian VC and 16 business angels.
Even tough the success in EU, we had to slow down discussions and requests from Australia, South Africa and mostly US where smart vending will enable a 7Bln market by 2017 according to Cisco.
We definitely want to reach these countries as soon as possible as well as to develop our product and strengthen the team.
With this aim a 3Mln Round A campaign will be launched next January.
if you want to be part of such an amazing revolution that will remove the pain of today fast moving consumers you’ll definitely want to talk to us.
