1. Never Doing That Again!

! I dreamt of going to the park with my cousins all year. My
cousins idea messed it all up.
!
! I walked calmly into the kitchen and asked my Mom, “Can
Rory, Tristin, and I go to the park around the corner?” My Mom
nodded her head yes. “THANK YOU!” I screamed. I raced to get
my pink and gray coat. I heard my Mom call “Stay together!”
!
! We went to the backyard. Tristin whispered “Bring the yellow
whiffle ball bat.” “Why?” I asked. “In case of emergency!” he
replied angrily. Rory put her hand on her face and sighed.
! We started to walk in the cool breeze. We walked on the rock
hard ground. My feet felt numb. We walked and walked. Warm air
was coming out of my mouth. “Can we please sit down!” I complained
“Ugh!” Rory and Tristin sighed.
“I guess that’s a no.” I thought.
! Rory did not know what was coming. I thought about
throwing the bat to Rory. I sort of had a grin on my face. “Ha,
Ha!” I mumbled. I was reallyuuuu grinning now.
! I threw the bat to Rory as quick as a cheetah. “Really a girl
with a leather jacket and a bat!” Rory yelled. “What is she so mad
about?” Tristin asked. I shrugged my shoulders.
! People started to stare at us. I was a sweaty mess. Rory and
Tristin did not even notice that people were staring. People began
to think we were robbers! “Let’s go home...NOW!” I started racing
home.

! I finally got to my block. I finally got to my house with my
cousins running behind. I was never so glad to be home. “I never
want to do that again!” I said giggling. We fell on the floor
laughing.
