• Several players like Mawana sugars and Dhampur sugars have been the first movers
• Other players: BCML, Modi sugar, Ravalgaon while more and more sugar factories
getting in the business of retail with a marked improvement in sale volume of
branded sugars
• With the explosion of retail; things are bound to change
