Role of an Architect
•Architect is the one who came out the design of the Smart.
•Determine the materials needed for the Smart’s roof, wall, floors and more to suit the weather, the
condition in the environment.
•Submit modification of the design of Smart during construction to contractor.
•Closely supervise the construction company to ensure the building is built according to building
plans.
•Give advices to the client on the cost of the Smart building.
•Architect recommends alternative solution to resolve any variations to original budgets.
•Conduct an assessment of the site for the owner.
•Consider the operations and performance of the facilities and make recommendations for
maintenance and improvement.
•Assign the building for approval of authorities.
