• This action was done to preserve an open Internet.
• In Jan. 2014, that reclassification was repealed by the courts.
• In Apr. 2014, FCC released new rules.
• New rules allowed providers to create internet fast lanes.
• This means that sites have to pay in order to load faster.
• Bigger sites can afford to. Small sites cannot.
