2. Erwin Wurm
• Since the late 1990s he is working on his on-going One
Minute Sculpture series in which he or others pose with
everyday objects, often within an art space.
• Erwin Wurm’s One Minute Sculptures have inspired people
all around the world to take on the challenge of coming up
with a work of art in a minute or less. The goal is to create a
sculpture in less than a minute using every day materials at
hand and sometimes even including your own body into the
sculpture. The sculptures take a varying amount of craft and
attention to detail, requiring you to plan well and be
efficient in the execution of the work.
Wurm is also credited for inspiring the video Can’t Stop of Red
Hot Chili Peppers which got +32.000.000 views on YouTube.
