1. The Electrofunk
Mixtape
Illuminus Edition

2. The Electrofunk Mixtape: Illuminus Edition is the result of a
collaboration between the STEAM Lab at the Boston Arts Academy
(BAA), Boston-based sculptor Brian Browne, and the “Phil Spector of
noise,” Hank Shocklee. Electronics, music, and video projection will
be layered on 3D objects that will hang or be worn by performers.
Visitors will witness -- and participate in -- a responsive and highly
visible 3D art installation that will respond to music and movement
and light.

3. The Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer (a.k.a. the "808") was one of the first
programmable drum machines ("TR" standing for Transistor Rhythm).

equilibrium structures.

9. Music visuals & video projections will immerse the public in Shocklee’s
electronic soundscape, punctuated by Browne’s light sculptures.
