rehabilitation, drainage, paving or sewerage with individual value to approximately $3M
It is very easy to be surprised by the scale of this enterprise and to be impressed by how forward thinking and innovative its Executives are. The enterprise spans in excess of
100 square kilometres within Sydney, populated by just shy of 200,000 people. The challenge of supporting this large and diverse community has provided the needs and
projects to drive the creation of a unique and impressive Capital Works Group.
With an annual capital budget approaching $20Million, the project team will plan and deliver an interesting range of infrastructure projects spanning cycle ways, ovals, parks,
stormwater systems, buildings, gardens or natural waterway restoration.
You will be responsible for delivery of many of these projects. The program for the coming 6 months is valued at approximately $10Million with $1million a typical individual
project. You will lead a team of 50 and accordingly your leadership credentials and project experience will be of key importance
We expect that candidates will have completed a relevant technical qualification along with training in Project Management. Candidates will have experience in structured
project cost management, governance and control. Managing the work of staff, consultants and contractors is important, requiring well refined communication skills and the
capacity to engage and negotiate with people of varied skills and styles.
This role will suit candidates with a genuine interest in diversification and those with an interest in challenging themselves and ongoing professional development.
