Project My Little Europe - goals
Goals of the Project:
- cultural integration
- arousing passion for searching new information
- learning about the greatest European heroes
- teaching how to work in groups and using modern tools in your job
Project Innovation:
Neurodidactics is brain-friendly teaching. The aim of neurodidactics is to
build a new model of both teaching and learning based on the natural
capacity of the brain and let create optimum conditions for brain
development . It won't be possible without the knowledge of what
controls our attention, what causes brain stimulation or what shuts the
brain off. The way to effective teaching leads through emancipation of
students. It needs to focus on the learning process.
According to neurodidactics assumptions, the best way to learn the
history of a given country is to learn the history of a single man.
Therefore, during the first year of the project children will focus on
finding a local hero, thanks to whom students from partner countries will
learn the history of the specific country.
The other neurodidactics solutions will be searched out collectively
based on conducted surveys and teaching observations.

11. “Why do I admire my hero
Kire Lazarov?”
All around the world there are many people, but not all of them are famous and popular and not all
of them have a successful career. Every one of us try to decide which way to take in life, which will
bring us to the real or fake goals. People’s life is like one empty book in which they write themselves,
holding the pen strongly in their hand. One successful and recognizable book has been written by
Kire Lazarov, a handball player who proudly carries the Macedonian flag and its colors shine
worldwide.
In the sky there are many stars which shine above us. But exactly 36 years ago on the 10th of May
a star was born, the brightest of all, our Kiri Lazarov. First of all he is a great person, brave man and
good husband. Although Macedonia is a small country, people with big talents are born here. So even
here, he managed to scale to the top. He is the captain of our national handball team. He plays
excellent handball, I admire him every time I watch him. I like handball and when I play I try to
remember Kire Lazarov and his professional handball playing. It echoes to me that shout „Lazarov“,
a sign that he is in front of opposing goal and immediately after some time you can notice how the net
shakes from the ball which has been thrown into the goal. Something fantastic.
For me he is the king of the handball. And in spite of the fact that he plays for Macedonian national
team, he also plays for Spain. But regardless of that in which country he lives and plays, he is
everywhere the best among the best. He is the best scorer in Spain and the best player in
Macedonia. He has participated in European Championship where he with his talent and desire
managed to break a record of 57 goals and to set a new one of 61 goals. That’s how he becomes the
best handball player in the whole Europe. That’s Kire Lazarov, a talent who will be remembered many
years in the future.
Kire Lazarov is one perfect example that we should always do the things which we love, the things
which fill our heart with happiness and to go where our hearts lead us.
