 A portion of the proceeds to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters

 Six weeks (4/14-5/25 or TBD)
 On-air commercials and promotional mentions inviting bands to enter
contest and asking listeners to vote on their favorites
 Social media “pages” set up for each station for entries and voting

(alternating at 15 minute intervals)
 18 total bands will play on alternating stages at 15 minute intervals
 Nine “Hawk-demo” bands
 Nine “Bone-demo” bands
 Grand prize winner will be chosen by a panel of judges (TBD)
 People’s Choice will be chosen by amount of money donated to
BBBS charity
 If the same band wins both, should give a prize to the second runner up?
 Event runs from 2 to 8pm

Battle of the Bands Promotional Proposal

  • 2.  107 The Bone and 99.9 The Hawk will host an outdoor music festival outside The Sands Bethlehem Event Center/Vision Bar on Saturday, July 19  Fully integrated marketing campaign  On-air, online, and on location  Emphasis on social and mobile platforms  Local bands compete to win great prizes  Music, beer, food, and fun for the whole crowd  A portion of the proceeds to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters  Variety of sponsorship opportunities available
