businessman (subject) hit
(verb) the envelope (object)

Garza estimated that about
50 students attended the fall
dance. The school gym
capacity is 1500. Marcella
Johnson said “the music is
boring and that is why no one
came.”
★ Incorrect: First or Second
Person
I don’t think there were more
than 50 students at the fall
dance. You could have easily
found a place to sit and “enjoy”
the boring music.
