Wind Telecom is a telecommunications company in the Dominican Republic that was founded in 2008. It has around 300 direct employees and over 10,000 customers. The company's infrastructure includes about 12 physical Linux servers, 10 physical Windows servers, and 15 virtualized servers. It offers services like telephony, internet, and wireless television. Wind Telecom considered several monitoring tools like Icinga, FAN, Centreon, Shinken, and OpenNMS but ultimately chose Nagios XI due to its flexibility, easy management, licensing options, documentation, local support, and price. Nagios XI is now helping Wind Telecom monitor all their Linux and Windows servers, databases, special ports, and some desktops
