4. Climate and beaches The climate of Asturias, is colder than that of the southern parts of the country. Summers are generally humid and warm, with considerable sunshine, but also some rain. Winters are mild with some very cold days. Both rain and snow are regular weather features of Asturian winters. The Asturian coastline is very nice, with sandy and clean beaches but cold water.

12. Natural sightseeing Naranjo de Bulnes Some natural places are: Cantabrian Mountains form Asturias natural border to the south. In the eastern we have got the Picos de Europa National Park . Parque Natural de Redes in the central east Ubiñas south of Oviedo Parque Natural de Somiedo in the west.

25. Cities The most important cities are: Oviedo (the capital, where we live), Gijón (seaport and largest city) and the industrial town of Avilés.
