Two days and one night at Utarube Campground to get back to nature and far away
from base! Transportation, two meals, and all gear are included. Lounge around, take
a hike up/down Oirase Gorge, explore around with your camera, drive into town for
an onsen, and travel up the road to the view-point!
Located in the Towada Hachimantai National Park, Lake Towada is believed to have
been created by volcanic activities of Mt.Towada that occurred about 40,000 years
ago. Yasumiya is one of the busiest quarters in the area around Lake Towada. The
Bronze Status of Maidens are the symbol of Lake Towada and were sculpted by
Takamura Kotaro. There is a promenade that enables tourists to stroll along the
shore enjoying the views of the lake while observing wild plants growing in the
surrounding forest.
