by Wal-Mart for various charity during my
visit. This has a positive impact on
customers.
Opportunity : Need to use social media
technologies to create pages for charity
contributions, and tweets to announce
the charitable donations status. This way
they can improve online presence and
brand image among customers.
6. Store layout seemed boring and not
inviting. Focus is towards providing low cost
product not towards service.

Opportunity to layout the store by color
schemes, creative stands to appeal the
gender and age group of product
segments. Need to modify model for
service element in order to gain long term
sustainability.

Opportunity for self scanning purchasing
stations for each product segment
where they are located to facilitate

Wal-Mart and the Bay as the leaders in
retail should setup virtual tryout stations in
the store.

newly introduced product at store to
market the product effectively. I have
not seen this happening at Wal-Mart.

For loyal customers, appreciation should
be via discounted coupons for repeat
customers to keep the relationship
maintained

Need to improve on the music to make it more appealing.
Targeted music for different sections will help.
Music system SONOS implementation would be a good
choice, that can be controlled individually speaker volumes
and music streams through wireless.
