M William Sermons, Director of the Alliance’s Homelessness Research Institute, specializes in cross-disciplinary research and program evaluation. As Director of the Homelessness Research Institute, he is responsible for advancing the Institute’s aim of building and disseminating knowledge that informs policy and practice. Prior to joining the Alliance, Mr. Sermons served as Outcomes Manager at Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care, Inc., where he evaluated the organization’s health, education, and social service programs and coordinated performance improvement efforts.
