How do you deliver a remarkable presentation? This PowerPoint supplements a presentation on Tips for Presenters. Presenters should think creatively about how they use visual images and slides in their presentations to deliver messages to their audience. This is much more effective than the usual standard slide templates and bullet points used in corporate presentations.

- Don’t let your message and your ability to tell a story get derailed by slides that are unnecessarily complicated, busy or full of ‘chart junk.’ Your slides should have plenty of ‘white space.’The less clutter you have on your slides the more powerful your visual message will become.
- Principle of alignmentUse the principle of alignment to connect elements visually (through invisible lines) on a slide. Grids are very useful for achieving good alignment. This will give your slide a clean, well-organised look.
- Use of quotes
- Limit your ideas to one main idea per slideMinimise the use of logos - Presentation Zen recommends removing logos from all except the first and last side
- Principle of contrastUse the principle of contrast to create strong dynamic differences among elements that are different.If it is different, make it very different.
- Principle of proximityUse the principle of proximity to ensure that related items are grouped together.People will tend to interpret items together or near to each other as belonging to the same group.
