6. SPRING FUNDRAISER- 2016
February 2nd- 12th
Original glazed, specialty, coffee and certificates
All money and orders MUST be turned in by Friday,
February 12th!
Students receive 50% of the profit. Sell sell sell!
Incentives? Of course! The student that sells the most in
each ensemble will receive:
Chorus: Free ticket (up to three people) for a day in the
water park at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA.

8. MUSIC IN THE PARKS
• Every spring, Passage Middle School is one of the many schools around the area
used to play host to the Music in the Parks competition organization.
• Different performing ensembles from as far north as Maine and south as Georgia
come to compete.
• Students complete an application, get an interview and are hired to work certain
scheduled weekends that the company will be using our facility.
• We also need YOUR (the parents) help! Please complete an application with your
student and turn this in to us tonight!
• Note: If you have worked Music in the Parks in years past, please fill out the returning
application

10. MUSIC IN THE PARKS
• The dates Passage Middle School will be hosting Music in the
Parks are as follows:
• Friday and Saturday:
• April 15-16; 29-30
• May 13-14; 20-21
• June 3-4
• Saturday Only:
• June 11
11. CHAPERONES
• Spring trips and traveling would not be possible without you the parents! You are there to
keep our children safe, together and serve as the link between the students and directors.
• We need chaperones for several dates coming up. Please see Desiree Cummins at the
conclusion of this meeting to sign-up for the following dates. All times are tentative and are
subject to change:
• Monday, February 8th (8 AM-1:30 PM): Symphony Orchestra Tour
• Saturday, March 5th: Orchestra Concert Assessment (8 AM- 9 AM and 11 AM-12 PM)
• Thursday (TBD), March 10th: Band Assessment (4 PM-6:30 PM)
• Friday, March 11th: Chorus Assessment (Time: TBA)
• April 22nd and 23rd: Beginning Orchestra Spring Trip ( if you did not check on form)
• Saturday May 7th: Intermediate and Advanced Orchestra, Band and Chorus: Spring Trip
• Saturday May 14th: Beginning Band Spring Trip
12. BYLAWS
•Currently, the Executive Board along with the
directors are in the process of creating them for the
Parent Booster Organization.
•We will have these completed by our final meeting
in April and will vote to make these our bylaws in
that meeting.
