1. The centre picture was drawn using a black pen/biro. To get the texture of the lizard I did a lot of
cross hatching lines with the pen. The rest of the background was drawn using a 2B pencil, with
light and dark shading.

3. This is just some images of research into the ‘Creatures’ which is the title of the
project.

4. This was created using watercolours, I'm not very good at using water colours but I tried my best
To blend colours together, I ‘dabbed’ the brush on the paper to try and create a feathery affect.

5. I really like this piece of work, its probably my favourite. This was my first time using oil pastels
but I adapted to them easily, I found the colours blended easily and I kept mixing/layering the
Colours until I got exactly what I wanted.

6. This is another research page of imaged focusing on birds. There is also another pen study of a
bird which Was used in my stop motion animation.

7. Here or further pen studies the top study of the Hawk was done using Fine liner pens of different
Thicknesses. The bottom study was done using normal pens or two different colours blue and
black.

Much detail as I could by using different tones and shades of pencils.
