3The Ascension of the Lord May 17th, 2015
Bible SpeaksBy Pastor Harris
T
he first step in our
Ascent is to know that
we are in the valley.
Likewise the first
step along the way of
salvation is to confess that we need
it. Only a sinner needs a Savior,
and who knows this better than
the Church Herself. She, above all,
needs salvation from the One in
Whose Holy Name she reconciles
man to God:
For the time has come for judg-
ment to begin with the household
of God; and if it begins with us,
what will be the end of those who
do not obey the gospel of God? And
if the righteous man is scarcely
saved, where will the impious and
sinner appear?
(1 Pet 4:17-18)
Who is Jorge Mario Bergoglio?
Asked Fr. Antonio Spadaro, S.J.
of the man we call the Bishop of
Rome, Pope Francis.
The pope stares at me in silence. I
ask him if this is a question that
I am allowed to ask.... He nods
that it is, and he tells me: ‘I do
not know what might be the most
fitting description.... I am a sinner.
This is the most accurate defini-
tion. It is not a figure of speech, a
literary genre. I am a sinner.’
(America, September 30, 2013)
Other beloved sinners the Lord
looked upon were three Apostles.
Jesus once invited Peter, James and
John to ascend the mountain with
Him so that from a vantage point
above the world, in a sense, out of
the world, apart from the noise and
confusion, they might see Him as
He really is—transfigured—with
clarity of heart and eye. This vision
does not originate from within
the mind of mortals, nor can it be
gained from comparison with other
figures in the landscape; rather,
it comes from above and unfolds
from within the soul as a revelation
of The Spirit of the Living God
Who reconciles and gives the grace
of peace. To confess Jesus as Christ
and Messiah—the first step in the
ascension of the sinner in his or
her journey back to God—is itself a
gratuitous grace from Heaven:
Simon Peter replied, ‘You are the
Christ, the Son of the living God.’
And Jesus answered him, ‘Blessed
are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh
and blood has not revealed this
to you, but My Father Who is in
heaven’. (Matt 16:16-17)
Christ established His Church
upon this Truth and upon the Per-
son, Peter, to whom Jesus revealed
it.
On the eve of His Ascension, our
Lord affirmed the necessity for His
leaving us so that we might ascend
as the Apostle Peter and every sin-
ner before us has done along that
everlasting way by which all human
flesh must pass for all time:
I tell you the truth: it is to your
advantage that I go away, for if
I do not go away, the Counselor
will not come to you; but if I go, I
will send Him to you...I have yet
many things to say to you, but you
cannot bear them now. When the
Spirit of truth comes, He will guide
you into all the truth; for He will
not speak on His own authority,
but whatever He hears He will
speak, and He will declare to you
the things that are to come. (Jn
16:7, 12-13)
Who can ascend to God? Must we
be of the glorious company of the
Apostles? No! You don’t need to be

“Joy is a net of Love by which you can catch Souls”
an Apostle to be called by God. You
don’t need to be a theologian to un-
derstand God, a charismatic born-
again believer to worship God in
spirit and in truth, or an ordained
priest or bishop or Bishop of Rome
to offer spiritual sacrifices to God.
You don’t need to be wealthy to buy
God’s attention. It may even hinder
your ascent. You don’t need to be
powerful to compel God’s bless-
ing. You don’t need to be athletic
to keep pace with God—He will
always remain one step ahead. You
don’t need to be born in America
to enter God’s paradise of Heaven.
You don’t need to be white or black
or brown, or red to enjoy God’s
special preference, because there is
no prejudice in God and He never
discriminates for or against any of
us on the basis of race or ethnicity,
gender or taste:
For there is no distinction between
Jew and Greek; the same Lord is
Lord of all and bestows His riches
upon all who call upon Him...(Ro-
mans 10:12)
My brethren, show no partiality
as you hold the faith of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory...
Listen, my beloved brethren. Has
not God chosen those who are poor
in the world to be rich in faith and
heirs of the kingdom which He has
promised to those who love Him?
(James 2:1,5)
You don’t need to be a saint to
know God. Any saint would tell us
that only a self-professed sinner
gains admission to the company of
children and the poor in Spirit:
In that same hour He rejoiced in
the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I thank
thee, Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, that Thou hast hidden these
things from the wise and under-
standing and revealed them to
babes; yea, Father, for such was
Thy gracious will. (Luke 10:21)
Jesus invites us to come up out of
the narrowness of narrow-mind-
edness to the expansiveness of that
bigger world, that better world,
which He has won and opened for
us by His Cross, Burial, Resurrec-
tion and Ascension: We beseech you
on behalf of Christ, be reconciled
to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20) Yes, be
reconciled to God and then, be rec-
onciled one to another. For we shall
not ascend save in the company of
our brethren:
So if you are offering your gift at
the altar, and there remember that
your brother has something against
you, leave your gift there before the
altar and go; first be reconciled to
your brother, and then come and
offer your gift... (Matthew 5:23-24)
If any one says, ‘I love God,’ and
hates his brother, he is a liar; for
he who does not love his brother
whom he has seen, cannot love God
Whom he has not seen. And this
commandment we have from Him,
that he who loves God should love
his brother also. (1 John 4:20-21)
God comes to us so that we might
come to Him. He became like us so
that we might become like Him in a
Divine Exchange, Grace for sin,
Holy Body for bread, Redeeming
Blood for wine. His one conde-
scending step towards us—His
Incarnation—makes possible our
first step toward Him and His
Ascension. We had no room for
Him and His Mother; He has made
room for us and a way to get there.
As He went, so shall He come, and
we shall follow—FOLLOW. AMEN.

Kelly Margaret Benjamin
Kelly was born on Feb. 8th
, 2001 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a good natured baby. When her mother returned to work in the
lab at St. Mary’s, Kelly and her brother were able to attend daycare/preschool on site. She was the oldest baby in the infant room and curious
from the beginning. One day she decided to investigate the red object on the wall. Why they put the crib of the only child who could stand
under the fire alarm we never understood. The next day, Kelly’s crib had a new location.
Kelly attended Manatee Elementary School. This is where she met her best friend Katie in 1st
grade. So close that the teacher would
often confuse them by calling them each other’s name. Meet the Teacher days always came with anticipation and the question “Will I have
Katie in my class this year?” Extremely bright, they would push each other to do better. As they grew older, their group of friends grew.
Kelly, Katie, Juanita and Gabby were a quartet at sleepover and other functions. Over time, Gabby moved away (but not forgotten) and Abby
became the newest addition to the group of inseparable friends.
As Kelly entered middle school she continued to challenge herself by taking honors classes. Where her mind was always quick, her
body particularly her legs would often fail her. In the summer of 2013, Kelly underwent surgery to lengthening her hamstrings on both legs.
The surgery was painful and physical therapy was a challenge. Kelly proved what a warrior she was by returning to Christa McAuliffe Middle
School in August even though she still needed to wear leg braces and use a walker or wheelchair for the first weeks of school.
As she healed, Kelly was able to return to things she loved such as climbing the lighthouses we would visit on vacations and bowling.
Her older brother, Matthew joined the bowling team at Park Vista High School and it was Kelly’ hope that she would be able to do the same
one day. She also continued to write her book that was started one summer when her brother was inspired to start his own novel. Many hours
where spent typing on the computer and printing finished chapters to take to her editors (Katie plus a few other friends) to review. Everyone
else would have to wait because the book was kept under lock and key.
Kelly loved her brother Matt (even though she would deny that publicly) and the two were good friends. As they grew older his love for
music grew in Kelly as well and they would often suggest to each other new songs or artists to listen to. Kelly attended her first concert (Train)
at Sunfest (which was really Mudfest that year) in 2013 and a great love for live music was born. Her favorite band Fall Out Boy was closing this
year at Sunfest on May 3rd
. Perhaps she left us so soon because she knew the only way to get there was to watch from heaven.
Matthew also shared his love for anime and ComicCon with his sister. The two of them could hold long conversations about the stories
they would read and watch. Kelly’s favorite Christmas gift this year was from her Uncle John who parted with some of his collectibles from his
youth that she found in the basement at Grandma’s house.
Between Faith Formation, Animal Rescue Club and National Junior Honor Society, Kelly developed a desire for community service.
Among her favorite things to do were monthly beach cleanups, fish frys at St. Thomas More (yum!) and anything to help animals. She had her
own beloved dog, Paris to keep her company at home.
She was named Kelly Margaret. Margaret was a family name on both sides. Kelly because we liked the name. The meaning of the name
is “warrior” or “battlemaiden” which she proved to be all her life.

CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ANDTUITION
POLICIES AT SAINTTHOMAS MORE PARISH
At this time of the year many of our Parish Families consider Catholic School Education for their
children. This is an expensive choice that parents make prayerfully after considering the financial
sacrifice it will mean for them as a family.
The Diocese of Palm Beach, of which STM is an entity, established a program ofTuition
Guidelines designed to assist Catholic families that are registered, active and contributing
members of any parish, like St.Thomas More Church, that does not have a school.
Registered is defined as having membership on STM Parish roles for at least 6 months. Active
means attending Mass at STM as a family on Sundays, Holy Days and engaged personally in
ministry and volunteerism on a regular basis. Contributing is defined as using the STM
envelop-system of offertory and making a minimum annual family contribution
of $900. Your contributions to other Parishes, theAnnual Bishop’sAppeal or other charitable
institutions or ministries are not considered when evaluating your family forTuitionAssistance
from STM.
All three aspects are equally important in qualifying for tuition reduction.
Qualified families receive a reduction in their tuition costs at the school. This is often
called the in-parish rate. STM Parish is obligated further to support that school directly at
the level of 50% of the cost of one-child’s full, annual tuition. This payment assists the
school in operating expenses; it is not a tuition payment or subsidy for the family. STM Pre-
School is part of the Diocese of Palm Beach Catholic School System. STM does
not participate in theTuition Program for families with children in pre-schools or
kindergarten’s outside of STM, only grades 1 through 8th
.
Bishop Gerald Barbarito has established definitively the obligations and scope of the
Tuition Program and his DiocesanTuition Requirements are more than just. As pastor, I have set
our requirements a bit lower in order to support families who must sacrifice to afford Catholic
School Education for their children. My approach is fair, just and respectful of the contributions
of our parishioners who are, in the main, retired.
Qualified families do not need to register in two parishes. Qualified STM families will
receive my endorsement through the Pastor’sAcknowledgement Form, provided by the Catholic
School of your choice. My acknowledgment qualifies your family to receive the in-parish rate.
Qualified families from other parishes may receive the STM in-parish rate under these same
guidelines. Unlike in the past, no scholarships are available at STM Pre-School. We are doing all
we can to keep our valuable staff employed, tuition rates competitive and still offer a first-class
developmental program for our students. If you have any other questions, please contact directly
Mrs. Colleen D’Ambrosio, executive director of STM Pre-School.

“Joy is a net of Love by which you can catch Souls”
Do you have a talent, a gift from God
that you would like to share with your
St. Thomas More Parish community?
Well, now is your chance! We will be
having our annual talent show, St.
Thomas More’s Got Talent!
On July 12th during the St. Thomas
More Feast after the 12:30 p.m. Mass.
We are looking for singers, dancers,
musicians, comedians, poets, acrobats,
and more to be a part of the show. If
you’ve got talent, we want to see it. The
more original your act is, the better.
If you are interested in participating
in this great event, please contact the
Parish Office at (561) 737-3095, for
more details. Thank you,
thank you very much.
Saint Thomas More’s Got
SACRED
MEMORIALS
The following sacred vessels and furnishings are available to honor your loves
ones, living or deceased, in a most beautiful way that exalts Christ in our
worship, serves the community of the faithful and enshrines their names in the
future life of St. Thomas More Parish.
CIBORIUM—25 $400 ea.
The sacred vessel for reserving The Most Blessed Sacrament is called Ciborium.
The interior of sacred vessels must be of precious material—most often gold—
as they hold the Precious Blood and Body of Christ.
We have 20 ciboria because God calls many to receive His Son at our Masses.
Unfortunately, our vessels are showing their age from heavy use. The base
metal is showing through and many ciboria are bent, have no covers and are
unstable on the altar.
ASPERSORIUM & ASPERGILLUM—4 $350 ea.
The sacred vessel for liturgical blessing with Holy Water is the aspersorium
(bucket) and aspergillum (sprinkler). We use these vessels for the blessing
of people within and outside of Mass, at the Wake and Funeral Mass, for
the blessing of animals, cars, houses, religious sacramental and many other
occasions. Ours are beyond polishing and repair, and would make a most
practical memorial.
If you would like to memorialize a Ciborum or Aspersorium, we would en-
grave the name of your loved one on the vessel as a lasting testament to life
and faith. Please contact Mrs. Kaiser in the St. Thomas More Parish Center
to make arrangements.

  • 3. 3The Ascension of the Lord May 17th, 2015 Bible SpeaksBy Pastor Harris T he first step in our Ascent is to know that we are in the valley. Likewise the first step along the way of salvation is to confess that we need it. Only a sinner needs a Savior, and who knows this better than the Church Herself. She, above all, needs salvation from the One in Whose Holy Name she reconciles man to God: For the time has come for judg- ment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the impious and sinner appear? (1 Pet 4:17-18) Who is Jorge Mario Bergoglio? Asked Fr. Antonio Spadaro, S.J. of the man we call the Bishop of Rome, Pope Francis. The pope stares at me in silence. I ask him if this is a question that I am allowed to ask.... He nods that it is, and he tells me: ‘I do not know what might be the most fitting description.... I am a sinner. This is the most accurate defini- tion. It is not a figure of speech, a literary genre. I am a sinner.’ (America, September 30, 2013) Other beloved sinners the Lord looked upon were three Apostles. Jesus once invited Peter, James and John to ascend the mountain with Him so that from a vantage point above the world, in a sense, out of the world, apart from the noise and confusion, they might see Him as He really is—transfigured—with clarity of heart and eye. This vision does not originate from within the mind of mortals, nor can it be gained from comparison with other figures in the landscape; rather, it comes from above and unfolds from within the soul as a revelation of The Spirit of the Living God Who reconciles and gives the grace of peace. To confess Jesus as Christ and Messiah—the first step in the ascension of the sinner in his or her journey back to God—is itself a gratuitous grace from Heaven: Simon Peter replied, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’ And Jesus answered him, ‘Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven’. (Matt 16:16-17) Christ established His Church upon this Truth and upon the Per- son, Peter, to whom Jesus revealed it. On the eve of His Ascension, our Lord affirmed the necessity for His leaving us so that we might ascend as the Apostle Peter and every sin- ner before us has done along that everlasting way by which all human flesh must pass for all time: I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you...I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. (Jn 16:7, 12-13) Who can ascend to God? Must we be of the glorious company of the Apostles? No! You don’t need to be
  • 4. The Ascension of the Lord The Ascension of the Lord May 17th, 2015 44 “Joy is a net of Love by which you can catch Souls” an Apostle to be called by God. You don’t need to be a theologian to un- derstand God, a charismatic born- again believer to worship God in spirit and in truth, or an ordained priest or bishop or Bishop of Rome to offer spiritual sacrifices to God. You don’t need to be wealthy to buy God’s attention. It may even hinder your ascent. You don’t need to be powerful to compel God’s bless- ing. You don’t need to be athletic to keep pace with God—He will always remain one step ahead. You don’t need to be born in America to enter God’s paradise of Heaven. You don’t need to be white or black or brown, or red to enjoy God’s special preference, because there is no prejudice in God and He never discriminates for or against any of us on the basis of race or ethnicity, gender or taste: For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him...(Ro- mans 10:12) My brethren, show no partiality as you hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory... Listen, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him? (James 2:1,5) You don’t need to be a saint to know God. Any saint would tell us that only a self-professed sinner gains admission to the company of children and the poor in Spirit: In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, ‘I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hidden these things from the wise and under- standing and revealed them to babes; yea, Father, for such was Thy gracious will. (Luke 10:21) Jesus invites us to come up out of the narrowness of narrow-mind- edness to the expansiveness of that bigger world, that better world, which He has won and opened for us by His Cross, Burial, Resurrec- tion and Ascension: We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20) Yes, be reconciled to God and then, be rec- onciled one to another. For we shall not ascend save in the company of our brethren: So if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift... (Matthew 5:23-24) If any one says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God Whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that he who loves God should love his brother also. (1 John 4:20-21) God comes to us so that we might come to Him. He became like us so that we might become like Him in a Divine Exchange, Grace for sin, Holy Body for bread, Redeeming Blood for wine. His one conde- scending step towards us—His Incarnation—makes possible our first step toward Him and His Ascension. We had no room for Him and His Mother; He has made room for us and a way to get there. As He went, so shall He come, and we shall follow—FOLLOW. AMEN.

  • 6. Kelly Margaret Benjamin Kelly was born on Feb. 8th , 2001 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a good natured baby. When her mother returned to work in the lab at St. Mary’s, Kelly and her brother were able to attend daycare/preschool on site. She was the oldest baby in the infant room and curious from the beginning. One day she decided to investigate the red object on the wall. Why they put the crib of the only child who could stand under the fire alarm we never understood. The next day, Kelly’s crib had a new location. Kelly attended Manatee Elementary School. This is where she met her best friend Katie in 1st grade. So close that the teacher would often confuse them by calling them each other’s name. Meet the Teacher days always came with anticipation and the question “Will I have Katie in my class this year?” Extremely bright, they would push each other to do better. As they grew older, their group of friends grew. Kelly, Katie, Juanita and Gabby were a quartet at sleepover and other functions. Over time, Gabby moved away (but not forgotten) and Abby became the newest addition to the group of inseparable friends. As Kelly entered middle school she continued to challenge herself by taking honors classes. Where her mind was always quick, her body particularly her legs would often fail her. In the summer of 2013, Kelly underwent surgery to lengthening her hamstrings on both legs. The surgery was painful and physical therapy was a challenge. Kelly proved what a warrior she was by returning to Christa McAuliffe Middle School in August even though she still needed to wear leg braces and use a walker or wheelchair for the first weeks of school. As she healed, Kelly was able to return to things she loved such as climbing the lighthouses we would visit on vacations and bowling. Her older brother, Matthew joined the bowling team at Park Vista High School and it was Kelly’ hope that she would be able to do the same one day. She also continued to write her book that was started one summer when her brother was inspired to start his own novel. Many hours where spent typing on the computer and printing finished chapters to take to her editors (Katie plus a few other friends) to review. Everyone else would have to wait because the book was kept under lock and key. Kelly loved her brother Matt (even though she would deny that publicly) and the two were good friends. As they grew older his love for music grew in Kelly as well and they would often suggest to each other new songs or artists to listen to. Kelly attended her first concert (Train) at Sunfest (which was really Mudfest that year) in 2013 and a great love for live music was born. Her favorite band Fall Out Boy was closing this year at Sunfest on May 3rd . Perhaps she left us so soon because she knew the only way to get there was to watch from heaven. Matthew also shared his love for anime and ComicCon with his sister. The two of them could hold long conversations about the stories they would read and watch. Kelly’s favorite Christmas gift this year was from her Uncle John who parted with some of his collectibles from his youth that she found in the basement at Grandma’s house. Between Faith Formation, Animal Rescue Club and National Junior Honor Society, Kelly developed a desire for community service. Among her favorite things to do were monthly beach cleanups, fish frys at St. Thomas More (yum!) and anything to help animals. She had her own beloved dog, Paris to keep her company at home. She was named Kelly Margaret. Margaret was a family name on both sides. Kelly because we liked the name. The meaning of the name is “warrior” or “battlemaiden” which she proved to be all her life. The Ascension of the Lord May 17th, 2015 11 The Ascension of the Lord 11 “Joy is a net of Love by which you can catch Souls” Protecting God’s Children The Catholic Diocese of Palm Beach is committed to the safety and protection of all God’s precious children in its care. Victims of abuse are encouraged to contact the Diocesan Victim Assistance coordinator to begin necessary emotional, psychological and spiritual healing. The Diocese of Palm Beach Victim Assistance Coordinator, Ms. Theresa Fretterd, can be reached at 561-801-0999. CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ANDTUITION POLICIES AT SAINTTHOMAS MORE PARISH At this time of the year many of our Parish Families consider Catholic School Education for their children. This is an expensive choice that parents make prayerfully after considering the financial sacrifice it will mean for them as a family. The Diocese of Palm Beach, of which STM is an entity, established a program ofTuition Guidelines designed to assist Catholic families that are registered, active and contributing members of any parish, like St.Thomas More Church, that does not have a school. Registered is defined as having membership on STM Parish roles for at least 6 months. Active means attending Mass at STM as a family on Sundays, Holy Days and engaged personally in ministry and volunteerism on a regular basis. Contributing is defined as using the STM envelop-system of offertory and making a minimum annual family contribution of $900. Your contributions to other Parishes, theAnnual Bishop’sAppeal or other charitable institutions or ministries are not considered when evaluating your family forTuitionAssistance from STM. All three aspects are equally important in qualifying for tuition reduction. Qualified families receive a reduction in their tuition costs at the school. This is often called the in-parish rate. STM Parish is obligated further to support that school directly at the level of 50% of the cost of one-child’s full, annual tuition. This payment assists the school in operating expenses; it is not a tuition payment or subsidy for the family. STM Pre- School is part of the Diocese of Palm Beach Catholic School System. STM does not participate in theTuition Program for families with children in pre-schools or kindergarten’s outside of STM, only grades 1 through 8th . Bishop Gerald Barbarito has established definitively the obligations and scope of the Tuition Program and his DiocesanTuition Requirements are more than just. As pastor, I have set our requirements a bit lower in order to support families who must sacrifice to afford Catholic School Education for their children. My approach is fair, just and respectful of the contributions of our parishioners who are, in the main, retired. Qualified families do not need to register in two parishes. Qualified STM families will receive my endorsement through the Pastor’sAcknowledgement Form, provided by the Catholic School of your choice. My acknowledgment qualifies your family to receive the in-parish rate. Qualified families from other parishes may receive the STM in-parish rate under these same guidelines. Unlike in the past, no scholarships are available at STM Pre-School. We are doing all we can to keep our valuable staff employed, tuition rates competitive and still offer a first-class developmental program for our students. If you have any other questions, please contact directly Mrs. Colleen D’Ambrosio, executive director of STM Pre-School. Rev.Julian P.Harris,Pastor

Well, now is your chance! We will be having our annual talent show, St. Thomas More’s Got Talent! On July 12th during the St. Thomas More Feast after the 12:30 p.m. Mass. We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, poets, acrobats, and more to be a part of the show. If you’ve got talent, we want to see it. The more original your act is, the better. If you are interested in participating in this great event, please contact the Parish Office at (561) 737-3095, for more details. Thank you, thank you very much. Saint Thomas More’s Got SACRED MEMORIALS The following sacred vessels and furnishings are available to honor your loves ones, living or deceased, in a most beautiful way that exalts Christ in our worship, serves the community of the faithful and enshrines their names in the future life of St. Thomas More Parish. CIBORIUM—25 $400 ea. The sacred vessel for reserving The Most Blessed Sacrament is called Ciborium. The interior of sacred vessels must be of precious material—most often gold— as they hold the Precious Blood and Body of Christ. We have 20 ciboria because God calls many to receive His Son at our Masses. Unfortunately, our vessels are showing their age from heavy use. The base metal is showing through and many ciboria are bent, have no covers and are unstable on the altar. ASPERSORIUM & ASPERGILLUM—4 $350 ea. The sacred vessel for liturgical blessing with Holy Water is the aspersorium (bucket) and aspergillum (sprinkler). We use these vessels for the blessing of people within and outside of Mass, at the Wake and Funeral Mass, for the blessing of animals, cars, houses, religious sacramental and many other occasions. Ours are beyond polishing and repair, and would make a most practical memorial. If you would like to memorialize a Ciborum or Aspersorium, we would en- grave the name of your loved one on the vessel as a lasting testament to life and faith. Please contact Mrs. Kaiser in the St. Thomas More Parish Center to make arrangements. Father Julian Harris, Pastor
