A guardsman is member of the British National Guard. Many tourists go to see
the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace every day.

13. Saint Paul’s Cathedral
Since 604 there has always been a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul which overlooks the City of
London.
The current St Paul’s Cathedral is the fourth to occupy this site. It was built between 1675
and 1710 after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London.

culture. Its collections, which number more than 13 million objects, are amongst the
largest and most comprehensive in the world and originate from all continents.

Today, London has got a population of more than seven million and it is a
center of business, finance, politics, culture, arts and style, as well as a busy
port city. Greater London stretches over both sides of the Thames River.
