3.
Parkour is a way to overcome obstacles like walls or railings.
The practitioners do this in the most efficient way possible.
There are many ways to over come an obstacle. People who
practice Parkour have practiced for very long time and some
can do every trick like climbing a 2 meter wall. Freerunnig
includes jumping from roof to roof or climbing between
buildings.
4.
Parkour came from A French naval officer by a man
named George Herbert. George was promoted athletic
skill. This was because he met many tribes in Africa that
were all very athletic gymnasts but yet had no tutors.
There bodies were splendid flexible, nimble, skilful and
enduring. Herbert new that this needed to be
combined with courage and altruism. Herbert then
became a P.E tutor at Reims France. During WWI
Herbert's teaching expanded to the French military
education and training. Parkour is now in all military
training named an obstacle course. This has led to
civilian use everywhere.
5.
A lot of people consider David belle the founder. His
father was born in 1939 in Vietnam cut off from his
parents. He was sent to military orphanage at 7 years of
age. Stuck there, he wanted to survive so he trained
harder than the others so that he wouldn't be a victim
of war. At night he would sneak out and climb trees or
run. He would use the obstacle courses in secret and
created his own to train harder and test his agility,
endurance, and skill.

Well Parkour is overcoming obstacles to
get to point B from Point A as fast as you
can. But free running is more like showing
of the flips and vaults you know from
point A to point B.
7.
Parkour has different types of vaults and
flips that are used in different situations
like the rail flip vault is used to get of rails
but the under bar is used to get between
the bars of a rail and jump down.

learned so much about Parkour. This
project explained a lot and I
