2. Nelly Furtado is a Canadian singer. She was born in Victoria, Canada, in 1978. Furtado first sang at the age of four when she performed a duet with her mother at a church on Portugal Day. She wrote songs with 13 years. Furtado moved to Toronto, where she formed the hip hop duet, Nelstar , in 1997. She came to fame in 2000 with the release of her debut album, Whoa , Nelly!. She won a grammy with this album.

On September 15, 2009, she released her fourth album. The first single release is entitled "Manos al Aire". After leaked online the song "More" on July 21 which began a campaign called "Countdown To" that sought to promote the album and which uniquely offers three cuts of "My Plan" . August 11 th was the turn for the song " My Plan" .
