TOPIC: ROUTINES 
TASK 
Write a paragraph about a person with an interesting 
job. Write about his routine, workplaces, working 
hours, duties etc. Make sure to use simple present 
tense and adverbs of frequency 
GRAMMAR & Lexis : To BE, simple present tense 
: Vocabulary to describe routines
WWRRIITTIINNGG PPRROOCCEESSSS 
I . BRAINSTORMING. 
Relaxing, get up at 6, take shower, have breakfast, go to work, 
from 9 to 5. Check mail, fill out forms, serve clients, answer the 
phone, I have no work on weekends, 
.
II . PLANNING 
How is your routine ? 
What are your 
routines? 
What is your 
occupation? 
Where do you work ? 
What are your working 
hours? 
What do you exactly 
do there? 
what is your opinion 
about your routine? 
I usually have a relaxing routine during 
the week. 
I always get up at 6:00 AM, take a shower, 
have breakfast and go to work. 
I am a secretary , (and)I work for Telefonica 
company that is located in the center of the 
city. 
I work everyday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm 
fromMonday to Friday. 
(Beside this) 
I fill form for clients, sell services, check e-mails 
and answer the phone 
Finally, I think my routine is relaxing and 
peaceful because I work only on weekdays 
so I can rest on weekends.
Rosa’s Daily Routine 
III . DRAFTING 
………….Rosa usually has a relaxing routine during the 
week. she always gets up at 6:00 AM, takes a shower, 
has breakfast and goes to work. She is a secretary , and 
she works for Telefonica company that is located in the 
center of the city ; she works everyday from 9:00 am to 
5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Beside this, she fills 
forms for clients, sells services, checks e-mails and 
answers the phone .Finally, she thinks her routine is 
relaxing and peaceful because she works only on 
weekdays so she can rest on weekends.

I am a secretary , (and)I work for Telefonica company that is located in the center of the city. I work everyday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm fromMonday to Friday. (Beside this) I fill form for clients, sell services, check e-mails and answer the phone Finally, I think my routine is relaxing and peaceful because I work only on weekdays so I can rest on weekends.

She is a secretary , and she works for Telefonica company that is located in the center of the city ; she works everyday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Beside this, she fills forms for clients, sells services, checks e-mails and answers the phone .Finally, she thinks her routine is relaxing and peaceful because she works only on weekdays so she can rest on weekends.
