My most important interests is concerned with studying the molecular machinery, mechanisms and "signatures" that signal the presence of HCV as well as functional approaches towards the elucidation of immune evasion, activation and targeting of the host immune system, optimization of T-cell mediated and humoral immune response. One of the promising projects is the development of a new in-vitro diagnostic kit based on enzyme linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA) as a possible alternative to in vivo neutralization test for the potency assessment of snake and scorpion venoms and consequently its counterpart antibodies.
