Q: What inspired you to start
Perfectly Posh?
A: Posh was started out of the
desire to see more women
take control of their own destiny
and create their life and future. I’m
a big believer that YOU CHOOSE
your life—you don’t “end up” in
it. Too often, fear of the unknown
holds us back from what we could
do. I had seen it so many times
before: when smart people come
together and support each other,
everyone grows. Posh has proven
that thousands of times over.
Q: Why are quality
ingredients so important?
A: I think we all know it—natural,
simple ingredients really
do work. So many times people
complicate products. We don’t need
to. I still laugh when people ask if
we do things like test on animals.
Why would we? We have simple,
great formulas that have been tried
and true. What’s there to test? Good
ingredients let you just put your feet
up and be pampered.
Q: Which product did you
develop first and why?
A: The first Perfectly Posh
product was the most simple
of all… just shea. The Healer™ Skin
Stick came from knowing it was
too hard to find an easy way to get
and use shea butter. We put a little
orange and vanilla in there to make
it an even better experience, but it’s
that simple. We’d used shea in our
home for years. I just wanted it to be
easier to find and take everywhere
we went.
Q: What are you most proud of
at Posh?
A: Posh is about sharing. The
most meaningful thing to me
is watching someone be inspired by
this little idea, adopting it into their
own life, then sharing it with others
and seeing it touch hundreds of
thousands of people. It creates this
great support network. It creates
opportunity, friendship, and the
chance to build our careers and
make all of our lives better by doing
something we love. There are so
many people and experiences that
have enriched my life in this huge
community. It’s a true blessing.
Q: Which Posh products can
you not live without?
A: The Posh I can never live
without is the NEW Posh!
Innovation, disruption, ideas… this
is what makes Posh so much FUN.
I have my favorites, and they will
always be in my bag (no one wants
a world without Sassyooma™ Big Fat
Yummy Hand Crème!), but I live for
a new bag of prototypes—tearing
in to a great formula to give it a
personality and a story. Filling the
vanity counter with NEW products
always makes me feel like a little kid
on Christmas morning.
Q: Do you have a favorite
Posh memory?
A: There are so many experiences
Posh has given me it would
be hard to choose just one. I have
trinkets all over my office that
are from leaders, Consultants,
Incentives… they make me smile
every single day. I’ve been able to
trace some of our key ingredients
to their sources in remote parts of
the world and experienced so many
new people, cultures, and ideas. But
on one particularly memorable day,
I signed the paperwork to start our
charitable foundation (a BIG dream
of mine), and the contract to have
my FAVORITE band play our fifth
birthday party—all in one afternoon.
That’s hard to beat!
Posh is about sharing. The most meaningful thing

The Posh Story of Shea Butter
Almost no ingredient is more pampering than shea. Why is shea butter
so good for your skin? Here are just a few reasons:
•Gently soothes skin irritations due to high lipid (fat) content
•Provides a protective barrier and promotes elasticity
•Deeply hydrates and moisturizes skin
At Perfectly Posh, we find shea so amazing that we’ve made it a BIG
mission—or you might say an entire Sisterhood. In 2018, Perfectly Posh
announced a partnership with the Global Shea Alliance, an organization
that unites co-ops of women from 21 African countries. Over 40 of our
products contain shea butter from our Shea Sisterhood Co-Op.

Women in Business
In Ghana, a small village called Gizaa Gundaa is home to 600 families
directly impacted by Posh. As part of our Shea Sisterhood, we are set to
triple and even quadruple their shea income in 2019. This cooperative
used to sell their shea nuts in local markets, but now receive assured
orders from Posh. With this increased income, families are better able
to send their children to school, buy food, and purchase clothing for
themselves. Through the You Deserve It™ (YDI) Foundation, these
women are also provided with the equipment they need to improve
the process of making shea butter.
We Need Your Help

create demand for shea butter from the Shea Sisterhood. In addition, $1
