ASB Tech Learning Plan Status Report
ES Tech Coordinator Learning Plan Actions Oversee implementation of tech skills and support teachers in the classroom when needed. Differentiate PD for both operational support and digital-age teaching and learning methods. Meet with grade level teams once in three weeks for planning, reflection, and skills documentation. Integrate tech and info literacy skill assessments into project rubrics. Maintain and monitor the "Big Picture" of vertical alignment with MS/HS Tech Coordinator and Tech Director.
MS/HS Tech Coordinator Learning Plan Actions Oversee implementation of the tech skills.  Differentiate PD for both operational support and digital-age teaching and learning methods. Use the list of tech skills identified by the TLT to develop a series of learning modules for students. Identify a performance assessment that will measure current and new students' tech skills and help identify the skills that need to be further developed.  Will explore the feasibility of:  ,[object Object],Courses will provide students' with learning opportunities to reinforce the skills.

  1. This was created and presented by the ES Tech Coordinator, Kevin Crouch , theMS/HS Tech Coordinator, Martin Reinsmoen, at the March 11th 2010 Tech Leadership Team (TLT) meeting. This documents our progress with integrating technology skills that were developed by the TLT in the spring of 2009 at the American School of Bombay.
  2. This was a specific requirement for ES Tech coordinator to have grade level meetings on a regular scheduled rotation.
  3. The process that is used in ES is not happening in MS or HS. The MS/HS teachers meet mostly individually with the Coordinator. Department meetings might be used, but would be difficult to meet with all of them. The advantage of meeting with whole departments would be that it would build consistency.
