3. Program Description
The BAT (Business Administrative Technology) program takes a
full-time student approximately 4 terms to complete.
Students have the option to choose either a business
administrative specialization or a medical administrative
specialization based on their interests.
Students will participate in office activities, use technology
essential to business, and apply this knowledge in diverse and
changing office settings.
Business Administrative Technology courses are offered on the
Tifton and Moultrie Veterans Parkway campuses.
Some courses are available online.

How often we register?
You can register for BAT courses any term (semester).
What is the procedure to register each term?
Contact your program advisor through email or in person during
new student registration day or pre-registration week (for
current students).

How long does it take to complete the BAT diploma program?
Both the business and medical administrative specializations take
approximately 4 terms for a full-time student to complete.

9. Course Fees
You will be required to pay for book fees that exceed your
financial support from any form of financial aid at MTC. For
those unable to purchase books, applications for the lending
library can be completed and submitted to admissions.
Book prices will vary depending on courses registered as well
as up-to-date publisher pricing.

10. Frequently Asked Questions
What if I fail a course in the middle of the program?
If you fail a course, you will be required to retake the
course until you are successful.
What if I get halfway through the coursework for my BAT
diploma and decide to switch from business
administrative specialization to medical administrative
specialization (or vice versa)?
Let your advisor AND admissions know of the change so
that you will be advised properly.
