Imogen Studio’s Cinema Stick HD is the size of a thumb drive, and it connects via HDMI to your TV,
allowing you to play 1080p content flawlessly. Here’s how it works: one end of the stick connects to
your computer via USB — you transfer video, music, and photos to the device’s 4GB internal storage
(or up to 32GB microSD memory).
2. The other end of the stick is the mini HDMI connector to display the content on your TV. It includes a
remote to navigate it all. The company lists the formats the device supports:
MP4, MOV , AVI , DVD, Video, ASF, WMV, MKV, RM, RMVB, TS, DAT, MPG, MPEF,
VOB
MPEG-1 Layer 3, WMA, WMA por, MPEG-1/2 Layer 1/2, ADPCM, AAC, OGG Vorbis,
Dolby Digital AC3, Dolby Digital Plus, RA-COOK, FLAC
JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF
SubRipper, MicroDVD, SAMI, SubStation Alpha, Advance Substation, DVD Subtitle,
DivX Subtitle
Pricing and availability for the Imogen Studio Cinema Stick HD is not available as of this writing, but
this looks like a very impressive device with, I'm guessing, an affordable pricetag. Not a bad way to
transport and play HD content anywhere.
