3. What is the last lecture? It was a lecture given by professor Randy Pausch on September 18, 2007. It was called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”. It was a base to the New York Times best selling book named “The last lecture”. 5. Prof. Randy Pausch He was a professor in Carnegie Mellon University computer science, Pennsylvania. Pausch had been diagnosed with a terminal pancreatic cancer September 19, 2006. After a few months of surgery his doctors told him that he had only three to six months of good health left. He said good bye to his students with one “last lecture” His "Last Lecture" has received attention from both the American media, as well as recognition from news sources around the world. 5
