Jenny joins the Sunset movement Stanford University, Spring 2010 CS377v - Creating Health Habits habits.stanford.edu The Sunset has a notch for each day she wears sunblock. "Popping" a notch reveals a color and a single letter. The letters all spell out quotes from strong women. Later that afternoon, Jenny buys a sunset necklace and puts it on, popping the first day - kinda like birth control pills. Jenny's mother has skin cancer and her grandmother developed a nasty case. She has always been told about wearing sunscreen but she doesn't see anybody else doing it. One day she sees Angelina Jolie wearing an interesting necklace with an evening gown and hears through the grapevine that it's her Sunset Necklace. She sees a girl at Stanford wearing the Sunset Necklace! Up close, she sees that the girl's has some colorful dots on the inside of it. She collects a necklace for each month and they are cheap so she buys 12 at a time. She always pops them in order. She can see other women's sunsets and they are all popped at the same place.
