5. With climate change and environmental degradation threatening our
planet, sustainable architecture has never been so at the forefront of
people’s attention.
Many architects and builders currently manifest an or interest in
environmental sustainability and consequently for ecologically defined
buildings and construction projects. However, it is quite rare to find an
architect with a comprehensive experience and expertise in what is
defined as “green building”.
99.nine fits into this context with its wide range of products and services.
According to the philosophy of the company, the structure becomes
“sustainable” in three dimensions and finding the right compromise
between the three aspects of: affordable costs, environmentally friendly
materials and clean technologies for energy production - while respecting
the ecosystem that hosts the module.

9. There is no doubt that unlike recent years, the sensitivity of people
in relation to environmental issues, the reduction of emissions and
greenhouse gases, the collection of waste and sustainable Eco-Friendly
mobility, has grown considerably thanks to the ‘mass-media’ supported
by major international organisations. However, at a time in which it is
extremely easy to talk about respect for the environment, now is the
time to move from words to actions.
It is within this context and frame-work that our project fits: to provide
a service to the community thanks to a functional structure for modern
needs, that naturally suits the environment in which it is placed, and at
the same time giving birth to a collective respect for the environment.
One of the objectives of 99.nine is, to overcome the belief that, it is
not possible to design, create and build a structure that is at the same
time functional, durable and architecturally state-of-the-art, while
simultaneously taking care of the environment, favouring or promoting
and encouraging sustainable mobility.

requirements, delivering maximum results in minimum time. Whether
it is aesthetic needs or economic, we will be able to create structures
that are in complete harmony with local environment, architectural style
and budget.
The services offered starts from the singular, stand-alone structure -
made with eco-friendly and reusable material - to complete units and
buildings incorporating fully self- contained solar power electrical
systems. These structures and buildings would be inclusive of annual
maintenance service.
DESIGN - Dimensions and materials can be customized to the client’s every
need. With solar-powered structures and buildings, a sight-survey of the
location will be however necessary, to verify the local climate conditions in
which the modules will be located and to ensure maximum efficiency of the
installed solar-power systems.
ASSEMBLY - The installation of a singular structure can be completed in just
oneday.Thiscouldvaryincaseswhereadditionalservices,suchas solar-power
systems, plumbing for the supply of water, or any specific client requirements.
MAINTENANCE - Included in the service there is an annual inspection to
check the status of the structure before proceeding with the maintenance
plan, which also varies depending on the materials chosen.
LEASING - To meet the diversity of client’s needs, we offer the a leasing
solution, with the possibility of purchasing at the request of the customer.

12. In addition to creating customized units and buildings, 99.nine aims
to promote the distribution of multifunctional and multipurpose public
facilities that contribute to improving the everyday activities of citizens
through the use of interactive tools and innovative technology services:
INFO-POINT A point of reference for both tourists and citizens
alike. Through the use of the internet, which
would allow the user to browse for services and
solutions offered by the local community.
WI-FI ZONE As the natural response to the daily needs of
citizens and tourists. The Wi-Fi Zone offers a
free internet connection service, ensuring the
pleasure of open spaces without having to disrupt
any, social, professional or study activities.
BIKE CHARGING This is a service point that offers the possibility of
recharge the battery of your bicycle in safety while
doing other activities.
BATTERY SHARING As an additional service to the Bike Charging,
also available to users who are unable to, or, do
not have the time to wait, is ability to exchange
their battery with an already fully charged battery.

14. Consistent with the 99.nine philosophy, every structure is designed to
fit and is fully adaptable to the location where it will be placed fully
respecting its surroundings.
The materials chosen for the shelter are completely recyclable and
environmentally friendly. For our projects we select panels, fixtures
and fittings exclusively composed of paper and natural resins, wood,
glass, aluminium and other applicable eco-friendly materials. These
materials offer excellent performance and are selected for their
exceptional tensile strength, resistance to abrasion and the effect of
acidic substances. They also guarantee a high resistance to weather
and fire.
The assembly of a single module is extremely easy and requires little
time. The entire structure of the module is designed to enable the
combination of further shelters, with no limit in number. This allows
the creation of complex modular structures, starting from a singular
model.
The modules can be integrated with a solar-powered source of energy
sized and calibrated according to the type of use required,l for its
entire working life, sized and calibrated according to the type of use
required. The module is designed to be a stand-alone, free-standing
structure allowing problem-free installation wherever and whenever it
is required, without the need for new point of connection to the local
electricity network .
To meet the energy needs in bad weather, the structure may be fitted
with energy storage batteries in conjunction with the solar power
system.
In the case of solar panel systems, it is necessary that the roof to
be inclined at 15 degrees, in order to enable optimum absorption of
sunlight.
TECHNICALASPECTS

15. As previously explained all aspects of the implementation of our systems
are evaluated and measured in order to offer a product that is consistent
with a full 360 degrees logic of environmental sustainability. For this reason,
the products offered may change function several times during their life
cycle, through the complete reuse of all the constituent parts.
With the same accuracy with which our projects are developed, we
evaluate the suitability of the production companies that supply the various
components, as well as their policy towards environmental sustainability.
Since this is a structure which will be inserted in a space and in a context not
originally intended to receive it, it is necessary that it must be “sustainable”
in its broadest sense.
The concept of sustainability implies three fundamental dimensions:
environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and social
sustainability. It is not possible to consider a structure “sustainable” if it
is construction or its maintenance costs lead to exorbitant fees. It also
cannot be considered “sustainable” if is to operate in a social context not
in total harmony with its surrounding, becoming a nuisance and creating
discomfort to the community.
