The document discusses initiatives by the Colorado Governor's Energy Office and a Colorado MLS called Metrolist to integrate Walk Score ratings into real estate listings. Metrolist was one of the first MLS providers nationally to integrate Walk Score ratings in 2008. This allowed listings to display Walk Score ratings to provide buyers with information on a property's walkability and access to nearby amenities. Realtors could then help buyers search for and find properties within a specified Walk Score range. Over time, the integrated data could also be analyzed to link ratings to home values, time on the market, and other sale metrics.

- This seems to be a national trend as well as a local trend. I was just reading an article in the Daily Camera a local Boulder newspaper that said many middle class Buyers are moving to the cities from suburban areas. The new mantra is pick up the bike and leave the car behind.
