3. The palm oil industry has grown rapidly in Malaysia. In
2018, the total numbers of oil palm production are 19.52
million tons
(MPOB) was predict around 20.3 million tons will be
produce in 2019.
Malaysia has 32 million hectare of land and up to 2007,
coconut cultivation palm oil covers an area of 4.3 million ha
which is 11.75% of the total land in Malaysia (MPOB 2010).
Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) was formed
on 1st July 1956 when the Land Development Act 1956
came into force.
The first Felda settlement was in Air Lanas in Kelantan
and was launched in 1957 by the late Prime Minister Tunku
Abdul Rahman.
Since the introduction of Felda Global Venture (FGV), the
oil palm plantation was manage by Felda Technoplant, one
of the subsidiary company form FGV..

• Regarding to this situation, some of
the Felda setters has decided to
implement self-managing on their
plantation
• They do in all rounded started from
managerial until selling the fruits.• The output was divide equally
between settlers
• Some of plantation area was not
good managing by Felda Technoplant
workers.
• Less monitoring and supervising by
Felda Technoplant
• Felda Technoplant has an authority
to replanting and operate all the
settlers plantation.
• For the beginning stage, settlers has
no choice.
• they just agreed with all the deal
