3. WHERE ARE
DENDRITIC CELLS
FOUND?
Most of the dendritic cells are found in the
tissues of the external environment, such as
skin contact (in this area Dendritic cells
are also called Langerhams Cells) and also
found in the nose, lungs and digestive
tract.
4. ● Dendrite cells
capture foreign and
cleanup antigen.
● Dendrite cells
transport these kind
of cell types from
the immune system to
produc antibodies or
antibody.
● Dendrite cells terminate few resistant
reactions like the sharpening of MHC-limited
T cells, the dismissal of organ transplants,
and the development of T-ward antibodies.
6. The History
of Dendritic
Cell
● In the 1970’s, dendritic cells were first
described and get spread out by Ralph
Steinman. He found these cells in the
spleen and it was later discovered that
the cells were existed in all lymphoid
and most non-lymphoid tissues.
